Evo 1200x600RICHMOND HEIGHTS, MO – Holland Construction Services, Inc. (Holland) will join with real estate services firm, Draper and Kramer, Incorporated in a ground breaking ceremony on Wednesday, September 9th at 11:00 a.m. to begin construction on Evo, a new luxury apartment community in Richmond Heights, MO.  The $54 million, four-story complex will include 281 one- and two- bedroom apartment units. Among the many featured amenities included will be: an outdoor skydeck located on the fourth floor, a four-story parking garage, a saltwater pool within a spacious courtyard, fire pits, an outdoor kitchen area, and a dog park.

The complex is located off I-64 (Highway 40) and Brentwood Blvd. at the intersection of Eager and McCutcheon Roads.

The development division of Draper and Kramer, headquartered in Chicago, has a long term relationship with the site and the city of Richmond Heights.  The previous apartment complex, Manhassett Village, was torn down in 2005 with a vision of this new development taking its place.  The project received $42 million in financing from the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust and is being built with all union labor.

Evo Apartments is the first of four phases of development.  The second phase will include four 2-story buildings with apartment units ranging from 762-1,465 square feet and 1-3 bedrooms.  Both Phase 1 and Phase 2 are expected to be complete by the end of 2016 with the additional phases planned for 2019-2022.

Humphreys & Partners Architects, based in Dallas, Texas, is serving as the architect on the project.  Holland also worked with Humphreys on two other apartment projects, Cortona at Forest Park in St. Louis and Parkway Lakeside Apartment Homes in O’Fallon, IL.
