The statute added construction manager at risk (CMAR), as well as design-build, to the list of authorized construction methods and it has been gaining popularity for school projects across the state ever since.

I also see women from my area of Illinois graduating high school and college and going into apprentice programs for operating engineers, electricians and ironworkers—it’s a great thing to see!
