Holland Construction Services, Inc. (Holland) recently began renovations and a new addition at May Apartments in Edwardsville, Illinois.

The Madison County Housing Authority selected Holland to construct 24 new apartment units and renovate 46 existing units. The project also includes new common areas and exterior finishes, as well as sidewalks and landscaping. Construction on the $8.1 million project will be done in 3 phases and is scheduled to be complete by late fall 2015.

The apartment community is a HUD mixed finance project for senior and disabled residents.

Hurford Architects, Inc. is serving as the architect on the project.
