Holland Construction Services, Inc. (Holland) recently completed construction work for Accent Construction Management and CBL Properties on the new Hobby Lobby at Hickory Point Mall in Forsyth, Illinois.
Construction work on the 60,000 square-foot space included interior demolition work, installation of a demising wall, as well as work on the roof, HVAC, and sprinkler systems. The new craft store encompasses over half the space formerly occupied by anchor store, J.C. Penney.
The store plans to open its doors this Fall.
“The Holland team exceeded expectations again. I wish Holland covered more territory so we could use them on more projects outside Illinois,” said Travis Owens with Accent Construction Management.
This is the third project Holland has completed at Hickory Point Mall for Accent Construction Management and CBL Properties. The other two being the Ross Dress for Less and ULTA Beauty which were both completed in 2014.
Herschman Architects out of Cleveland, Ohio, served as the architect on the project.
