Holland Construction Services was selected to construct several oncology facilities for Dr. Megahy.
Breese Oncology is a one-story, 6,400 square-foot oncology center featuring a chemotherapy suite, exam rooms, simulator room and therapy room. Special radiation protection includes 7’-6” thick therapy room walls, lead lining, a neutron shielding swing door and duct shielding.
Belleville Oncology was originally built by Holland in 1998 and underwent an addition in 2009. The one-story, brick and EIFS addition covers nearly 2,000 square feet with additional waiting room space, three exam rooms, an IV room, storage rooms and restrooms as well as more parking spaces.
Southern Illinois Oncology in Maryville is a 7,500 square-foot facility which features equipment using state-of-the-art technology, including computerized treatment planning.
