Holland served as construction manager on the new Best Buddy Pet Center & Animal Medical Center of Mid-America.
This 44,200 SF facility provides an inviting atmosphere for pet adopters. A soaring atrium welcomes adopters into a colorful, bright lobby showcasing adoptable small animals in Pet Penthouses. Visitors meet larger dogs in the Katz Kozy Canine Kennels flooded with natural light and featuring colorful walls, plexi-glass paneled kennel doors and automatic water spigots. Visitors then enter Companion Animal Way anchored by a large pyramid skylight marking the building by night and filling the interior with natural light by day. The center also features a state-of-the-art medical facility with dedicated spaces for a laboratory, pharmacy and a large treatment area, as well as three surgical suites.
