Holland Construction Services Announces Promotions in VDC and Project Management

(Swansea, IL – December 2025) – Holland Construction Services announces the promotions of Megan McMillen to Project Manager, Sam Gray to VDC Manager, and Dan Peter to VDC Field Manager. These advancements highlight Holland’s commitment to innovation, quality, and leadership across its operations.

Megan McMillen, Project Manager

Holland Construction Services proudly congratulates Megan McMillen on her promotion to Project Manager. McMillen has been an integral part of Holland’s Special Projects Group, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership and technical expertise. Moving forward, McMillen will lead residential projects, continuing to leverage her experience and collaborative approach to deliver exceptional results.

McMillen brings extensive experience from her previous role as Assistant Project Manager, where she played a key role in Holland’s self-perform work on several notable projects. Her contributions include the North Mac Community Unit District (CUSD) 34 high school gym addition, McKendree University’s Voigt Science Hall renovation, and the Edwardsville CUSD 7 high school commons addition. She also supported the new construction of the 175,000-square-foot Keystone Place Senior Living Complex in Glen Carbon, Illinois.

McMillen earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Her commitment to excellence and ability to foster strong partnerships make her a vital asset to Holland’s self-perform and residential teams and a trusted partner for clients.

Sam Gray, VDC Manager

Holland Construction Services is excited to announce the promotion of Sam Gray to VDC Manager. Gray drives Virtual Design & Construction innovation and collaboration across project teams. Gray’s expertise ensures that advanced modeling and coordination tools are fully leveraged to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.

Gray holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Kansas, is a licensed architect in Missouri, and has earned LEED® Green Associate accreditation. With a strong background in construction technology and project integration, Gray has been instrumental in expanding Holland’s VDC capabilities. Gray’s commitment to continuous improvement and team development positions Holland at the forefront of digital construction practices.

Dan Peter, VDC Field Manager

Holland Construction Services is pleased to announce the promotion of Dan Peter to VDC Field Manager. In this role, Peter helps connect Holland’s project teams with our Virtual Design & Construction capabilities.

Peter leverages cutting-edge tools such as drones to monitor job progress, verify quantities, and provide visual updates for owners and stakeholders. He also utilizes laser scanning and photogrammetry to capture precise, 3D snapshots of current site conditions, which are integrated into building information models for enhanced accuracy and coordination.

Peter holds the Associated General Contractors of America Certificate of Management – Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM) and is certified in Trimble’s Total Station and Field Link Layout software, underscoring his expertise in digital construction solutions.
