Holland Construction Services Announces Promotion of Clayton Herring to Senior Project Manager

(St. Louis, MO – November 2025) – Holland Construction Services is excited to announce that Clayton Herring, LEED® Green Associate, has been promoted to Senior Project Manager. With more than 13 years of industry experience and a decade of dedicated service at Holland, Herring has built a reputation for leading complex projects with precision and a client-first mindset. In his new position, Herring will oversee daily operations, drive project schedules, and ensure every build meets Holland’s rigorous standards for quality, safety and profitability.

Reflecting on the promotion, Rob Ruehl, VP of Operations, said: “Clayton has repeatedly stepped up to meet the needs of our clients and our team. His dedication, attention to detail, and ability to lead complex projects make him an invaluable asset to Holland. We’re excited to see him take on this expanded role and continue driving our success.”

Over the course of his career, he has directed a broad spectrum of projects, ranging from educational facility upgrades to expansive residential and mixed-use developments. His skills have played a key role in the completion of:

  • Bemiston Place, Clayton, Missouri: New 268,535 square-foot, 237-unit mixed-use complex for Balke Brown Transwestern.
  • Mill Creek Flats, St. Louis: New 105,000 square-foot, 105-unit mixed-use development for Pier Property Group.
  • Grand Flats, St. Louis: New 132,000 square-foot, 124-unit apartment complex for Altus Properties.
  • Edwardsville High School Commons, Edwardsville, Illinois: 6,000 square-foot commons building addition and renovation for Edwardsville Community Unit School District #7.
  • Jacksonville Middle School, Jacksonville, Illinois: 82,000 square-foot building renovation and 30,000 square-foot addition for Jacksonville School District 117.

A graduate of Southern Illinois University–Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Clayton Herring holds multiple certifications, including OSHA 30-Hour, LEED® Green Associate, and USACE Quality Management.
