At Holland, we are taking safety to another level with uncompromising practices that ensure all company and jobsite employees, on all projects, are active participants in a functional and successful safety-first culture. Driving our safety mission, Holland employs full-time, field-based safety professionals under the direction of our Safety & Health Director. In addition, all Holland project superintendents are required to hold an OSHA 30-hour certification card and participate in on-going safety training courses.
Quality doesn’t have to cost more or take more time if it is built-in to the design and construction process from day one. Holland’s approach focuses on identifying and eliminating issues early, doing work right the first time, and learning and improving with every project. During construction, Holland’s Quality Assurance Director oversees critical installations. Every Holland project employee is provided the training and tools they need to make sound decisions to balance the demands on each project.
At Holland, we are aggressively changing the way project information is collected, communicated, and modified through the application of appropriate technologies. Building Information Models (BIM) are valuable tools during design and construction that empower the entire project team to make informed decisions. During design, modeling allows for visualization and collaboration in the design of all building systems. During construction, BIM drives real-time coordination between the project team in the field and the design and management team in the office.
