Holland Construction Services is committed to providing the safest possible working environment for everyone involved in every project.
To
achieve this goal we conduct intensive training and evaluation sessions,
including bi-weekly safety meetings, weekly safety audits along with company
wide monthly safety forums.
In addition, all jobsite superintendents carry a 30 hour OSHA certification and our insurance carrier plays an interactive role in jobsite inspections.
In the last five years Holland Construction Services has been honored with 11 safety awards from the Associated General Contractors of America and Bituminous Insurance Company. HCS has also received five Outstanding Builder Awards and Master Builder Awards from Star Building Systems.
Gold Level Status
Holland Construction Services has attained "Gold Level" status, the highest in the AGC/SIBA Strategic Partnership Program with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Holland continues to reaffirm its strong commitment to creating a safe work environment for its employees.
This Strategic Partnership Program helps:
- Develop practical skills to identify and abate hazards
- Establish effective safety and health management systems
- Obtain access to technical assistance and educational resources
- Reduce absenteeism and injury, illness and workers' compensation rates
- Qualify for incentives like limited scope inspections and penalty reductions
- Enhance positive relations with employees
- Create cooperative OSHA relations
This translates to lower insurance costs and increased productivity, making it possible to offer clients lower costs and more timely completion of projects.
