January 19, 2007

HAZELWOOD, MO. - Holland Construction Services completed its 11th Walgreen Co. retail location at 7398 N. Lindbergh in Hazelwood.

The $2.5 million, 14,820-square-foot Walgreens store is owned by Pace Properties, Inc. In addition to a large retail space, the store offers a drive-thru pharmacy and photographic services.

“As usual, Holland Construction did a phenomenal job,” said Pace Properties Vice President of Development Rick Meyer. “Holland has a tremendous amount of experience and as expected, provided excellent service and as always, completed construction on budget and on time.”

The Hazelwood Walgreens replaced a former strip mall and Hardee’s Restaurant on a 1.9-acre site adjacent to an existing McDonalds’ Restaurant. The project also involved the construction of a new two-lane bridge to allow easier customer access.

Architectural services were performed by TR,i Architects of St. Louis.

Among the Walgreens constructed by Holland are the stores at Watson Road in Crestwood, Mo., Kennerly Center in South St. Louis County and New Manchester Road and New Ballwin Road in Ballwin, Mo.
