Holland Construction Services Completes Swansea Supportive Living Facility

SWANSEA – Holland Construction Service, Inc. recently completed The Cambridge House of Swansea, with occupancy for the 103-apartment facility set for mid-March.

“The project went incredibly smooth,” said Steve Macaluso of Halloran Development. “It started under horrible winter conditions, but even with 19 days lost to weather, Holland Construction brought it in on time.”

The new $7.3 million residential-style senior living structure encompasses 87,500 square feet consisting of three wings with the 103 apartments surrounding a core living and activity area. The building features appointments like upscale finishes, a lounge with a stone fireplace and luxurious carpeting. Residents have access to a centralized exercise room, a television and library area, convenience shop and common kitchen and dining room.

Apartments provide emergency call systems, and some include accessibility features.

“This is our third project with Holland and the quality is always there – that’s why we keep coming back,” Macaluso said. “The company always looks out for our best interests.

Holland also completed similar facilities in Maryville and O’Fallon.
