Holland Construction Services Completes Belleville Gundlach Addition

May 18, 2006

BELLEVILLE, IL - Holland Construction Services (HCS) recently completed the $1.25 million Gundlach, Inc. facility just outside the city limits of Belleville.

The pre-engineered metal building adds 11,040 square feet of attached additional space to the original structure. Accommodations were also made for a new 25-ton double girder crane in the new building. Three new overhead-access shipping doors, along with a loading dock were also incorporated to expedite operations.

Mark Kohler, Gundlach vice president of manufacturing, said Holland Construction was very professional, organized and thorough with quotes and estimates - so there weren't any surprises.

"I was impressed with the way the Holland team treated us and handled the project," Kohler said. "They were a very professional group; they had a list that they stuck to in order to get the job done."

The addition has increased manufacturing capacity and streamlined material handling for the company, Kohler added.

Architectural services for the project were provided by EWR Associates, Inc. of Fairview Heights.

Gundlach provides crushing services for virtually any industry. The company manufactures impact mills, roll breakers and crushers, and provides sheet and structural steel fabricating, welding, metal painting and mechanical assembling services.
