Holland Construction Services Nearing Completion on Gundlach Addition

BELLEVILLE, IL - Holland Construction Services (HCS) will complete the addition to the Gundlach, Division of JMJ Industries, Inc. facility just outside the city limits of Belleville by the end of January.

The $1.25 million project began Sept. 20. The pre-engineered attached metal building adds 11,040 square feet to the original structure. The existing overhead crane was also extended to accommodate a new 25-ton double girder crane in the new metal building. A new loading dock and three new overhead-access shipping doors were added to expedite operations. Gundlach provides crushing services for virtually any industry. The company manufactures impact mills, roll breakers and crushers, and provides sheet and structural steel fabricating, welding, metal painting and mechanical assembling services. Mark Kohler, Gundlach vice president of manufacturing, said Holland Construction is always very professional, organized and thorough with quotes and estimates - so there are never any surprises.

"Bruce Holland has been a reputable contractor for a long time," Kohler said. "It wasn't a hard decision to go with Holland for the project. EWR Associates, Inc. provided architectural services.
