Holland Construction Services Begins Work on Newest Ballwin Walgreens

BALLWIN, MO. - Holland Construction Services broke ground on another Walgreen Co. retail location in Central Plaza at 15253 Manchester Road in West County.
The $2.6 million, 14,490-square-foot Walgreens store is owned by Pace Properties, Inc. and will stand in the area of a former Hi-Fi-Fo-Fum store and the eastern wing of Central Plaza. The plaza’s existing Walgreens store will relocate to the new facility.
In addition to a large retail space, the store will offer a drive-thru pharmacy and photographic services.
“We enjoy the longtime working relationship we have had with Pace Properties and the Walgreen Co.,” said Bruce Holland, president of Holland Construction Services. “We are happy to continue to work with both on the Ballwin Walgreens as well as future projects.”
Aedis, Inc. of St. Louis performed architectural services.
Among the multiple Walgreens retail locations constructed by Holland are the stores at Watson Road in Crestwood, Mo., Kennerly Center in South St. Louis County and on North Lindbergh in Hazelwood.
