Holland Construction Services Building Swansea Supportive Living Facility
SWANSEA - Holland Construction Services is in the process of building the new Cambridge House of Swansea, a facility with 103 apartment units designed to provide residential-style living for area seniors.
The $8.1 million, three-story facility spans 87,461 square feet in three wings surrounding a core area offering residents an exercise room, television and library area, convenience shop, a common gathering and dining area and kitchen, with upscale décor, luxurious carpeting and high-end finishes throughout.
All the comforts of home greet residents in their nicely furnished apartments. Features like emergency call systems and some with accessibility appointments provide safety and peace of mind.
In recent years, Holland completed similar Cambridge House facilities in O’Fallon, Ill. and Maryville.
Project owner Steve Macaluso said it’s always a pleasure working with Holland Construction. “Everyone - from subcontractors to staff - has a high morale and keep a very clean work site. I think that’s a testament to how well the job is run,” he said. “Holland always looks out for our best interests,” he said.
Cambridge House of Swansea was designed by Environs Architects-Planners of Maryville.
