New ROHO Addition Completed by Holland Construction Services

BELLEVILLE, ILL. - Holland Construction Services, Inc. recently completed construction of the new ROHO Group’s addition at the company’s manufacturing facility in Belleville, providing much-needed warehouse space for raw materials in order to more quickly meet increasing demand for the manufacturer’s goods.

“ROHO produces cushioning and mattress products for medical applications and recreational and commercial vehicles, and continues to show strong growth,” said Strategic Facilities Director Skip MacEwen. The 12,000-square-foot metal building will allow more storage space with two new receiving docks, further expediting the manufacturing process. “It’s been a good project,” MacEwen said. “We have a great working relationship with Holland Construction, and their team worked hard with subcontractors and everyone involved to make sure it ran smoothly.” Oates & Associates Engineering and Architecture of Collinsville provided architectural services, with additional design services provided by Design Six of Belleville. In 2005, Holland also completed extensive renovations to the exterior of The ROHO Group’s facility, revitalizing an abandoned former Kmart building and invigorating the surrounding community. “We would definitely use Holland again,” MacEwen added.

The ROHO Group specializes in shape-fitting technology, and is known for its Dry Flotation technology, providing wheelchair users with greater comfort, stability and skin protection. Each user's individual body shape is continuously accommodated with every movement, enhancing blood flow and supporting posture.
