Holland Construction Completes Ritchie Bros. Auction Facility
CASEYVILLE, ILL. - Holland Construction Services, Inc. has completed construction of Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ new St. Louis auction facility, located on Old Country Inn Drive in Caseyville, Ill. The site’s Grand Opening auction will be held on Tues., June 29, 2010.
The new 40-acre site includes a 13,557-square-foot auction facility with telescoping bleachers, overhead doors and large Virtual Ramp screens designed for the comfort of Ritchie Bros. customers. The bleachers will provide seating for more than 300 people, the overhead doors will close during inclement weather and the large Virtual Ramp screens allow customers to bid on stationary and off-site items while remaining indoors. The new auction facility also includes an entrance canopy, large concourse, seven administrative offices and restrooms.
“Holland Construction has done a fantastic job on our new St. Louis auction site. We can’t wait to host our grand opening auction there,” said Nick Pacino, Ritchie Bros. Area Manager. “This new state-of-the-art facility will provide so much for our customers.”
“Not only is it conveniently located with high traffic visibility, but it also allows our customers to enjoy the auction in a comfortable, heated auction theater, which will be especially welcomed by local customers who have become used to attending our auctions here in a tent and trailer,” Pacino added.
