Holland Construction Services Finishes Phase I of O'Fallon Sports Park

O'FALLON - Phase I of the new O'Fallon Sports Park has been completed by Holland Construction Services.
The 50-acre, $9 million development includes four tournament-quality baseball fields, a recreational playground with sliding boards and other equipment, and open pavilions for picnicking and social gatherings. Various interesting appointments such as a gazing pond, fountains and rock features, flank the walking path.
A comfort station provides public conveniences like restrooms and concessions.
"Everyone at Holland Construction was fabulous, and that made my job much easier," said Mary Jeanne Hutchison, O'Fallon parks and recreation director. "We're thrilled with how nice it was to work with Holland and how easy they made the project for us."
Plans for additional phases of the O'Fallon Sports Park include eight additional baseball and softball fields, 12 soccer fields and a recreational building.
Holland Construction also built the state-of-the-art public safety facility for the city of O'Fallon in 2004, housing the municipality's police station and emergency medical services.
