Holland Construction Services Building New O'Fallon Township High School Addition

October 31, 2007

O'FALLON, IL - O'Fallon School District #203 is expanding O'Fallon Township High School with a large classroom addition now in process by Holland Construction Services, Inc.

The $3.7 million expansion will alleviate space constraints with seven classrooms, two chemistry labs and 1,000 square feet of administrative offices. Academic areas are set to open in January in time for the spring semester, with office space already in use.

"Holland has an outstanding reputation in school construction. The team is professional and very knowledgeable," said Darcy Benway, OTHS District #203 superintendent. "We are very pleased with current progress. I have been involved with many school construction projects, and this has been one of the best experiences I have had."

Maintaining a quality learning environment is a priority for OTHS, and this addition will provide immediate relief to space demands that we have at the high school, she added.

Wm. B. Ittner, Inc. provided architectural services for the school addition.

Plans are in place for Holland Construction to begin work in January on a new ninth grade center for the district.
