Holland Construction Services Completes Mid-America
Imaging Open MRI expansion

O'FALLON, IL - Holland Construction Services (HCS) completed the construction of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) expansion for Mid-America Imaging, LLC in the St. Elizabeth's Hospital Diagnostic Center in O'Fallon.
Work began August 15 on the $623,000, 2,200-square-foot suite enlargement, which will house an open MRI machine, provide additional office space, a reception area for patients and a control room. The project also included the installation of magnetic and radio frequency shielding. EWR Associates, Inc. was the project architect.
St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, owners of the medical office building, oversaw the construction project. "Holland Construction has remarkable leadership and is very highly respected," said Sr. Ritamary Brown, assistant administrator of St. Elizabeth's. "The firm has the highest degree of integrity and dependability; works well with owners and is very respectful to everyone involved."
HCS also constructed the St. Elizabeth's Medical Plaza in Mascoutah and the five-story St. Elizabeth's Hospital Medical Arts Building in Belleville, as well as subsequent additions and renovations to their facilities.

Mid-America Imaging is an outpatient facility staffed by board certified radiologists and registered MRI technologists, providing state-of-the-art open MRI technology in a comfortable environment.
