Holland Construction Services Completes Fox Meadows Supportive Living Facility
MCLEANSBORO, ILL. – Holland Construction Services, Inc. recently completed the much-anticipated Fox Meadows Supportive Living Facility in McLeansboro, now open and filling a need in Hamilton County.
Randy Dauby, president of Fox Meadows, said the need for a facility of this type for adults aged 65 and older was determined in 2001, and the dream has become a reality. “Holland Construction did a super job,” Dauby said. “The company is very business-oriented and timely. Even though the project lost 35 days to rain, it was still completed on time.”
Located on South Marshall Avenue, the $4 million, 30,430-square-foot Fox Meadows offers 41 studio and one-bedroom apartments, central full-service kitchen and dining room, and kitchenettes within individual apartments.
Dauby said Holland Construction was chosen for the project due to the company’s excellent overall reputation and its track record in the construction of supportive living facilities. “We felt very comfortable and the Holland team was very responsive to our needs during construction and following up afterward,” Dauby said. “I would definitely use them again.”
Blair Minton and Associates, Inc., a firm founded by McLeansboro native Blair Minton, will manage Fox Meadows. Gleason Architects, P.C. of Sugar Grove, Ill. provided architectural services on Fox Meadows. Holland Construction has completed several supportive living facilities in various communities in and around Southern Illinois.
