January 4, 2007

Holland Construction Services has recently completed two Southwestern Illinois National City Bank branches - one in Collinsville, with the second in O’Fallon.

The branch in Collinsville Crossing just off of Illinois Route 157, constructed in just 12 weeks, is the 50th National City bank to go up in the greater St. Louis area. The $1 million bank building consists of 3,500 square feet and features a large open customer lobby, private offices and conference rooms, and provides three drive-up lanes and a drive-up automatic teller machine for customer convenience.

The $1.9 million structure in O’Fallon serves as the bank’s regional headquarters with a spacious 6,644 square feet. The one-story building offers four customer drive-up lanes and opens to a large lobby and teller line with upscale woodwork and ceramic tile. It was the first building to go up in the new Shoppes at Green Mount Road development.

“National City chose Holland Construction due to the company’s outstanding reputation,” said Andrew Baker, National City executive vice president of retail banking. “National City plans to continue to work with Holland on future banks as we expand our presence in Southwestern Illinois.”

Holland Construction also recently completed a National City Bank branch in Waterloo. National City plans several more upcoming branches for Illinois including one in Edwardsville.
