Holland Construction Services Starts Construction On Two Additional National City Bank Facilities

April 24, 2007

Holland Construction Services recently began work on two more National City Bank branches as the bank enters new areas of Southwestern Illinois - one in Edwardsville and one in Belleville.

With more than 50 National City banks in the greater St. Louis area, the two additional facilities will each be 2,958 square feet in size. The $881,000 Edwardsville bank building in the Edwardsville Crossing development is scheduled to open this month with a large open customer lobby, three drive-up lanes and a drive-up automatic teller machine for customer convenience.

Offering a large parking lot and entrance drive, the $968,000 Belleville branch is slated for completion in mid-May. The one-story building, located in the Green Mount Commons development will also offer three customer drive-up lanes and opens to a large lobby and teller line with upscale woodwork and ceramic tile.

"National City chose Holland Construction for its Illinois facilities due to the company's outstanding reputation," said Andrew Baker, National City executive vice president of retail banking. "National City plans to continue to work with Holland on future banks as we continue to expand throughout Southwestern Illinois."

Holland Construction also recently completed National City Bank branches in Waterloo, Collinsville and O'Fallon. GPD Group of Akron, Ohio provided architectural services on all five National Bank facilities that Holland has been involved in.
