Key Responsibilities
|
| Duties and Responsibilities |
- Review all documents and proposed schedule for project.
- Assume responsibility for preparation of estimate or bid of jobs assigned.
- Lead the market bid process.
- Take bids from subcontractors and material suppliers.
- Complete bid documents or budgets as needed.
- Meet with Clients and Management as required.
- Keep accurate records.

Candidate Requirements
|
| Summary of Qualifications |
- Five or more years estimating experience in Commercial Construction as a General Contractor.
- Proven track record or successfully estimating construction projects.
- Ability to lead the market bid process.
- Good conceptual budgeting skills for CSI Divisions 1 thru 16.
- Strong competitive bid skills.
- Good personal and computer skills.
- Knowledge of digitizer, Timberline earthwork software and Sage-Timberline software (Estimating Extended 9.2.1) preferred.
- Knowledge of Southern Illinois and St. Louis subcontractor market.
- Proficient with Excel, Word and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Invitation to Bid sub bid solicitation software.
- Must be self-starter.
- Above average sociability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to participate with job meetings and develop into lead for client meetings.
- Must be able to deal with job pressure.
